CTMH Cricut Blog Hop/ H2H challenge

If you've come from Eva's blog, you've come to the right place!

For this hop I made a gift card box that I found on Lisa Sargent's blog -

 http://www.lisasargent.net/2012/05/box-gift-card-holder.html.  However, I did decrease the size from 12x12 to 11x11 for a slightly more compact box. The cardstock is Sweet Leaf with Florentine paper.  The arrow was cut from the AP cartridge & stamped in Goldrush by the Cricut Collection arrow stamp. I distressed the side by scoring every half inch and sanding the raised edges. Thanks to Eva Friesen for the idea.

The card holder inside the box is from Brown Bag cardstock.  The Cricut Collection stamp is done in Olive on a coordinating Dimentional Element Shape.

This project is simple & oh so cute!

H2H Distressing Challenge

This week's H2H challenge is to use a distressing technique.  I used Florentine paper distressed with Sweet Leaf Exclusive Ink.  My AP cartridge cutout is sandpaper distressed on its edges & stamped in Brown Bag from the Thoughtful Tidings My Acrylix stamp set.  2 Little Bitty Pearls adorn the curves.  I finished by stamping a Canvas Badge Button with the center of the Florentine WOTG stamp set flower to match the paper.   The sentiment is "You Touch So Many Lives."

MojoMonday 241/ H2H Challenges

Welcome back to my Monday morning challenges.  Here's this week's MojoMonday sketch:

 I also incorporated the H2H challenge to use polka dots & stripes. Of course I used the Dotty For You papers & Cricut AP cartridge. The stamp, "Hooray for You," is from 4 My Friend in Lagoon Exclusive Ink (my personal favorite).  I embellished with Just Blooms Paper Shapes, Licorice Opaques, & 4mm Sparkles. This card is for a friend who is retiring after 30 years of teaching 1st grade!

Welcome! I used this week's MojoMonday sketch to create a Mother's Day card as challenged by H2H & Exploring Cricut. The card was cut from Art Philosophy & the sentiment from Wildcard. I chose Dotty for You papers & Lagoon CTMH Exclusive Ink, as well as other CTMH embellishments.   EnJOY!
