Color Dare # 27 - Sweet Leaf, Topiary, & New England Ivy

We have another monochromatic color dare for you this week - all in green:

Sweet Leaf
Topiary
New England Ivy

Lesson: Monochromatic colors are colors on the color wheel of the same hue, but a different shade. In this case, Topiary would be the true green, Sweet Leaf would be the tint, or pastel, (with white added), and New England Ivy would be the shade (with black added).

I chose to do a CAS (clean & simple) card this week.  This is a Valentine's Day card for my son, Alex, who's favorite color is green.  The hearts were cut from White Daisy CS using CTMH's Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge at 3". 2", and 1".  Next I sponged on the 3 different shades of green before inking the edges in Black.  The A2 card base is Sweetleaf edged in Topiary.  A simple length of Burlap Ribbon sets off the layered heart.  The sentiment is from Adore stamp set (A1123).
EnJoy!
