I chose a 5x7 White Daisy card base layered with 6 2x2 squares, each inked in the featured colors. I took a 10 inch length of Black Tulle sliced into 1 and 1/2 inch widths to back the squares. The heart stamp is from Love Life (D1482), and the sentiment is from the January Stamp of the Month. I finished with gray epoxy bubbles left over from the Avonlea Card Workshop on the Go.

Very nicely done, Joanne! Using the same shapes in different colors really pulled it all together. Thanks for playing along with us at Color My Heart Color Dare this week! Hope you join us again soon with your great ideas!

Your card is amazing. I've been stuck with this challenge. Too many odd colors, and can't decide how to put them together. Thanks for your inspiration.
ReplyDeleteWow! Wonderful take on that very difficult challenge. Your card reminds me of Andy Warhol's art (that is meant as a compliment!). I also like the use of the black tulle to ground the stamped images. Bravo!
ReplyDeleteBrave girl! Thanks so much for taking the plunge--your card is fantastic! I love the gray effect the tulle has on the color scheme...it definitely has a softening feel. :) Thanks again for playing along with us!
